Road Warrior Award: Unit Government Motor Vehicle Operator Award
Purpose
To recognize individuals for significant contributions and in the field of safety and mishap prevention.
Frequency
Quarterly.
Eligibility
All Marine Corps units. This award is presented to units driving government motor vehicles that achieve cumulative mishap/violation-free driving mileage at 25,000 mile increments.
Criteria
The command is responsible for tracking the unit's cumulative mileage record. Commanders will monitor unit and individual eligibility for Road Warrior Awards, and submit award requests quarterly in the appropriate format described in MCO 5100.32A, enclosure (1).
Requirements for Submission
The commanding officer completes the template below and emails it to HQMC_Safety_Division@usmc.mil, with the subject heading, “Road Warrior Unit Award Submission.”

Recognition for Recipients
The award consists of a certificate from the Commandant of the Marine Corps.
