Safety Training

Overview

Training is integral to safety awareness. Both formal and informal training on safety-specific and operational topics are necessary to ensure a fully functional safety management system (SMS). The scope, content, and frequency of training must meet the objectives identified in the SMS and should rapidly incorporate lessons learned. Safety training equips personnel with the skills to identify potential hazards, use equipment correctly, and implement preventive measures. By promoting a safety-conscious culture, organizations can significantly reduce the risk of accidents and injuries. This page provides information on Marine Corps and industry safety training and certifications.
