Dennis Campbell, sergeant major of the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit shares a story of his past experiences on deployment with the Marines and Sailors of the 15th MEU aboard the USS San Diego during PHIBRON-MEU Integration, April 7, 2017. Along with learning to work side-by-side with their Navy counterparts, mentorship plays a major role in preparing the 15th MEU for their upcoming deployment. This Navy-Marine Corps team supports combatant commanders in maintaining regional maritime security and stability while providing offshore options to deter, influence and win in an era of uncertainty.
