CMC Safety Division emphasizes the importance of safety and risk mitigation on several fronts. With the nature of the Marine Corps as it is, the team at CMC(SD) -- and the subsequent areas of focus -- revolve largely around Ground safety, Aviation safety, and Occupational Safety & Health. The diverse nature of the USMC allows for a great deal of overlap in many fundamental aspects, but Safety Division makes a point to provide situational and billet-specific information and training to best equip Marines for the safety challenges which present themselves.
